Kartchner Caverns State Park
Kartchner Caverns is a must-see! Only discovered in 1974 and opened to the public in 1988, this “live” cave is continually forming and changing as water from above drips down and calcifies, creating giant stalactites and stalagmites. There are a couple different caves to visit, and reservations are usually required. Visit the website for more information about times, prices, and hours of operation.
